Highlight on a member: LTC Von Seyfried
Lieutenant Colonel Henry Von Seyfried has been a member of the Order of the Knights of Rizal since 1995. The Order was chartered by the Philippine government, Republic Act 646. Jose Rizal was the number one hero of the Philippines and responsible for the liberation of his country from Spain. For this, he was executed.
The Knights of Rizal are a humanitarian patriotic organization. LTC von Seyfried was appointed as Commander of the Los Angeles Chapter since he had organized food distribution for WWII Filipino and American vets at the Filipino American Community Center in Los Angeles. The food was donated by LTC Lev Leznik and the Day Care Center for Veterans. LTC Mahesh Parek is also a Commander of the Order.
